MEET OUR TEAM
Lawrence Lo Magno, Founder and President of CM Services Group, Inc., offers extensive hands-on managerial experience and 16 years of development/construction industry expertise.
Prior to launching CM Services Group, Inc., Lawrence served as a Senior Project Manager for a major developer for six years after working as an outside consultant with Gorton Associates, Inc. for two years. While working for a developer, Lawrence has built over one million square feet in new commercial retail projects, a 16-plex movie theater and was involved in the pre-construction of over 600,000 sq. ft. of commercial office space, which often entailed meeting with anchor tenants to understand office space needs.
Additionally, Lawrence spent four years as a Project Manager and Construction Superintendent for a major construction management firm primarily serving NYC high school and college institutions. He was involved in the purchasing and oversight of multiple, simultaneous contracts for interior/exterior projects, and as Project Superintendent, was assigned to a $26 million school addition/modernization in Brooklyn, NY.
As of 2001, Lawrence has operated CM Services Group, Inc., a construction management firm providing consulting services to individuals and corporations. Since 1994, he has operated Lo Magno Construction, Inc., which is run by a Director of Construction and mainly involved in commercial renovations with annual revenues of over three million dollars.
His formal education includes a Bachelor of Professional Studies Degree with Honors in Construction Management from Pratt Institute and an Associates Degree in Applied Science Degree in Construction Technology from NYC Technical College.
Ricardo Perea, Project Manager, has 14 years of combined experience in engineering and construction industries, specifically in the areas of mechanical, electrical and plumbing. His major roles have included Project Management, Field Construction Administration, Project Engineering and M.E.P. Coordination.
His project expertise ranges from new and existing school, hospital, high-end residential and specialty construction to medical offices, parking structures and restaurants. In the early part of his career, Ricardo worked for a consulting engineering firm designing HVAC and Plumbing systems for large department anchor stores and other tenant improvement projects, including that of legal forensic investigation.
Cara Liander, Administrative Assistant, provides day-to-day operational support to CM Services Group, Inc. In such, she contributes her organizational talents, communication skills and follow-through expertise helping the office, clients, associates and all prospective inquiries to proceed with efficiency.
CM Services Group is compiled of associates who strengthen the company with backgrounds in construction management, owner's representation and a diverse realm of construction experiences.
